Gillette College, in partnership Campbell County School District and local area high schools, offers junior and seniors the ability to complete courses, either online or in-person, at the college campus, and at times other than the normal school day. Courses count toward high school graduation requirements as well as earn college credit. Participating students are eligible to enroll for 6 credit hours during their first eligible semester. Upon earning grades of “C” or higher, students then have the opportunity to enroll for up to 16 credit hours in subsequent years. This program offers students an opportunity to graduate with a college degree or certificate at the same time they are graduating from high school. Enrollment is through the Pronghorn Advantage Program with Mr. Wasserburger.
The Board of Cooperative Higher Education Services (BOCHES) supports the Pronghorn Advantage Program which offers a scholarship to cover the cost of tuition. The cost of books and supplies are the responsibility of the student.
Gillette College, in partnership with Campbell County School District through Campbell County High School, Thunder Basin High School, Westwood High School, and Wright High School, have created an opportunity for students in grades 9 -12 to earn college credit while also earning high school credit. Classes are instructed by a college-accredited instructor. All classes in this program are taken at the student's high school as part of the normal school day. This program is at no cost to the student, and the student enrolls in the normal manner through their high school.
